Castello di Bibbione

Wine and olive oil,

an expression of our land.

The vineyards and olive groves surrounding Castello di Bibbione are not simply part of one of Chianti’s most recognisable landscapes. They are an essential part of the estate’s history and identity.

This land gives rise to Bibbione’s Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva and Extra Virgin Olive Oil: products shaped by the character of the territory, the changing seasons and a farming tradition that has continued over time.

Discovering them means exploring another side of the Castle, where the landscape meets the work carried out in the fields and brings some of Tuscany’s most authentic flavours to the table.

Vineyards and Olive Groves

The farmland of Castello di Bibbione extends across the heart of Chianti Classico and includes 24 hectares of vineyards, planted mainly with Sangiovese and Merlot.

Since 1965, the Farm has been a member of the Castelli del Grevepesa cooperative, where its grapes are delivered for winemaking.

The estate also includes around 2,000 olive trees, which produce Bibbione’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

A tasting is an invitation to discover Bibbione from a different perspective.

The experience combines the story of the Castle and the estate with a tasting of its wines and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, helping guests understand the relationship between history, landscape and agricultural production.

During the tasting, guests can compare the Chianti Classico and the Chianti Classico Riserva, appreciate their differences and become more familiar with the distinctive character of the wines produced in this area.

The tasting is accompanied by traditional Tuscan products, carefully selected to complement Bibbione’s wines and olive oil.
