Castello di Bibbione farmlands extend, in the heart of Chianti Classico, over 24 hectares which are cultivated with vineyards, 16 hectares Sangiovese and 8 hectares Merlot.

The property since 1965 is member of the co-operative Castelli del Grevepesa, to whome it sends the grapes which are transformed into wine.

The farm also has about 2.000 olive plants, thanks to we produce excellent Extra Vergin Olive Oil.

WINE TASTINGS

The wine tour at Bibbione consists of a visit and brief description of the Castle history followed by the wine tasting, where the guests discover the evolution of wine production in Chianti and learn how to taste and appreciate wine like true professionals!

They enjoy a comparative tasting of two wines offered together with Tuscan bread , pecorino cheese and extra virgin olive oil produced by Bibbione. In conclusion a very special glass of VinSanto and Cantuccini

The Chianti Classico Riserva Castello di Bibbione is made from a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes of Castello di Bibbione, of the Rangoni Machiavelli family. Intense ruby red colour, lively aroma with hints of ripe fruit and vanilla. A noble, full-bodied, deep and velvelty wine.

Selection of Sangiovese and Merlot from a single Castello di Bibbione vineyard, of the Rangoni Machiavelli family. Vineyard exposure west /south west – 200 m above sea level. Very intense, bright, ruby red colour. Deep, intense fragrance with broad bouquet and notes of ripe forest fruits and vanilla. Sapid, balanced flavour with tannins in harmony with the essences of wood, persistent.
